Based on Yew Chung's philosophy of "educating the whole person", the school is committed to the mental as well as the physical development of our students. During PE lessons and through co-curricular activities, different sports activities, including basketball, table tennis, football, badminton, swimming, net ball, track and field, ice-skating, tennis and bowling, are offered to our students. To encourage our students to participate in recreational activities, the school will continue to open the swimming pool and the gymnasium during after school hours and on Saturdays.
With immediate effect, the swimming pool and the gymnasium will be available for co-curricular activities after school. On Saturday, the gymnasium will be available for booking from 4–6.30 p.m. while swimming pool will be available to students for free from 2–6.30 p.m. Parents can accompany the students to use the swimming pool for $30 per session. Parents are responsible for supervising their children who are aged 12 or below at all times when using the sports facilities.
All sports facilities are for recreational purpose only. No private training session or coach is allowed in the sports facilities.
